Week 3 Reflections

There was a lot of reading involved in this week's assignment, but I actually completed them all. I learned a lot about the differences between CBT/WBT and web based education. Some things I already knew, but the readings helped me see the difference between these types of learning environments. I enjoyed reading the posts of the web site critique of courses because they put me in connection with a lot of information. I even page marked some sites that I know I will need for the future.

Hi Denise!
I think we've all hit snags with our blogs, but it is getting easier. I played around with adding a slideshow to my blog to see if it would work. It did! These blogs are cool!

Hi Denise--I have received your invite. We will get through this together. Having fun yet with the picture sharing swap meet?
LOL. See you soon!

Denise--Things are back to normal without popups now. It seems as though you have the fix! I was surprised when the popup appeared the first time. I find some subtleties in the options for this application, if we can call it that. Yet, I enjoy working with you and everyone else while trying to determine what those "buttons" do! :)

Hi Denise!
Have you used any web-based training in your classroom?

Denise,

Now that you have a better take on CBT/WBT and Web-Based Learning do you have a preference for one over the other?

Hi Denise!
Now that we have the blogging stuff down we can work on the Instant Messaging. We were working on trying to get the WhiteBoard feature to work last night but it was a no go.

We were successful in getting a group together though and that was interesting but you have to have fast eyes to read all the posts.

Hi Denise-

I read your post for this week but for some reason cannot leave a comment! Any ideas? Did you change a setting?

I like the picture of your son's horse. I must confess I am a horse nut, too. Have been riding since I was four. It is an addiction!

I think the whiteboard in IM could be very helpful if we could get it to work but so far no soap. Shane and I spent some time last week working on it, adjusting setting, etc but nothing. We did figure out how to share files. That could be most helpful.

This week I guess we should work on the audio stuff. On to Week 6, half way through the course.
